i lost by default
i am the designated scape goat
never ever won
but never ever really lost

the target for ridicule
the object of hate
the man that has always been
tempted by fate

a statistic
a cliche
always lost
yet never astray

i knew from the start
that i could never win
but if trying is my crime
then let me sin.
