Enjoying endless chatter
Adults taking relaxing walks
Happy with the pleasant day

Tourists taking pictures
Friends having coffee
Families getting together
Individuals having fun

Smiles all around
In this first beautiful day
Special for one and all
Because of the vibrance it brings

Yet it's just another day for me
Empty and ordinary, rain or shine
Just another meaningless day
Without you to share it with
