Tossing and turning

At the weight of these thoughts

Far from the slumber I desire

Forcing my eyes shut

The desires and fears

I weigh every night

All the wonderful hopes

And thoughts of spine-tingling fright

While all of them sleep

So restful, so deep

I am unbearably lost

Dreaming but awake

So much has been pondered

Some I love and some I hate

While they all restfully snore

My thoughts are in conflict
