Eyes intently begging

With tears and shaking hands,

I approach with no hesitation

My lips open, my voice flows out

An unmistakably sincere apology

Humble beyond humility

And though it is not I

That bares true fault

It is my voice in this apology

I cannot bear to see you

In such internal conflict

While you battle with your pride

I did no wrong

My only fault is weakness

A weakness that cannot bear to see you cry

A weakness that swallows its own pride

A weakness that will never allow you to suffer
